Putting the wrong date on a transaction is easily done.  The problem is it can have long reaching issues from your management information being wrong, VAT control accounts not reconciling to missing things from payment runs.

With Hindsight we will check sales invoices and bills and manual journals to look for these mistakes.  If we spot them we will flag them up and give you the opportunity to correct it straight away and avoid the issues these types of mistakes can present.  We ignore any transactions in the current month to avoid flagging up things like wage journals which you may post into the future.

The check simply takes todays date and looks for anything post beyond today (ignoring the current calendar month).  Any transactions found are presented as per the below with a Xero hotlink to take you directly to the offending item to correct in Xero.
